Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve insurance denials through effective communication with payers
- Navigate payer portals to monitor claim status and eligibility
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide necessary appeals and claims documentation
- Manage outstanding accounts receivable using medical collection practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and compliance
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and record-keeping for billing activities
- Complete and document communication on accounts within EHR systems
- Meet department production standards and manage assigned work queues
Requirements
