APTPUO - Fall2026/Winter2027 - PED 32001/32002- Practicum in the Primary/Junior Division I (Ottawa)

Duties

Observation, reflection, and practice teaching in the primary/junior division classrooms as identified by the regulations of the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Ontario College of Teachers. The associate teacher provides mentoring and feedback as well as formative and summative evaluations of teacher candidates.

Course Structure

Hybrid means that all courses include ten in-person sessions offered on campus at the University of Ottawa (30 in-person instructional hours) and two online course modules, delivered through Brightspace, which provide the equivalent of 6 instructional hours.
