Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Understanding of application, vehicle lines, technological advancements, problem statements and requirements (customer/regulatory/industry competitiveness, etc.).
Lead technical communication & coordination over the course of a project, including product evaluation, testing/measurement to quantify design targets, etc., while working with support staff of specialists in Design, Analysis, Testing and Sales.
Determine & recommend solutions based on available product & technologies or tailored solutions, material standards, and DFM standards.
Select purchase parts and work with suppliers as needed.
Utilize Engineering calculators and light FEA tools (ie stress) and CFD (ie back pressure & surface temperature) via ANSYS.
Coordinate with Central Development in Toronto for advanced Engineering and India Design Center for completion of models & drawings by marking up prints for technical/manufacturing requirement...
