Application Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, test and release production seatbelt system designs
• Manage the release of the design through the Autoliv design change process
• Position requires ability to manage Customer relationships related to product development and implementation.
• Engineering background with good problem-solving skills, hands‑on approach to development, testing, sample builds, teardowns, developing fixtures for testing and developing new test methodology.
• Active member of cross-functional team of design engineers, purchasing, quality, process and launch engineers.
• Work closely with Program Management as point contact to customers.
• Release internal component drawings, assembly drawings and customer drawings.
• Support the Autoliv Product Development System by releasing engineering documents related to product design/development such as DFMEAs, DV/PV test reports, etc.
