Job Overview
The Application Engineer is responsible for supporting the pre‑sales and sales process for Controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Chiller Plant Manager (CPM) solutions. The role focuses on developing technical solutions, preparing quotations, estimations, technical submittals, and project documentation while ensuring alignment with customer requirements, project specifications, Carrier standards, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project documentation, including equipment shop drawings, mechanical plans, specifications, and tender documents to identify technical requirements, compatibility issues, and design discrepancies.
- Read, understand, and interpret MEP drawings and project specifications.
- Perform quantity take‑offs from tender drawings, RFQs, and project documentation.
