AOI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for in-process detection engineering – SPI/AOI/Vision Systems for NPI P and production released products.
• Responsible for the SMT/PCB issues and internal/external quality feedback. Troubleshoot the SMT/PCB process (SPI/AOI/Vision Systems) root causes and attain corrective action to the issues.
• Plan, create and ensure the necessary SPI/AOI/Vision Systems programs and process documentation are completed and updated in time for production.
• Ensure that the respective equipment computer systems and network are well maintained and in operation condition. Programs are regularly updated and backup.
• Participate in new product development discussion and contribute ideas and comments in the areas of PCB assembly, automation, and process technology.
• Monitor the SPI/AOI/Vision Systems inspection/detection windows and modify whenever necessary to increase machine capability and quality.
