Position Details

ANTH 100 - Introduction to Anthropology is a sessional faculty position for Fall 2026. The course explores the anthropological concept of culture, its application to human behavior, and its influence on language, society, and human nature. It teaches students to compare cultural diversity from a unique anthropological perspective and to analyze the connections between politics, economics, gender, kinship, and religion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the course on campus, face‑to‑face, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 – 12:45.
  • Conduct one office hour per week.
  • Manage classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina, including UR Courses (Moodle).
  • Prepare instructional materials and assessments, and grade student work before and after the term as required.
