Job Overview
The Cardiac Anesthesia Division at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) is actively recruiting new members to support a growing program. The division consists of 8 members and provides seamless coverage for pre‑operative consultation, cardiac surgery anesthesia and post‑operative care in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ICU is a 6‑bed unit with capacity to expand to 8 beds. The division supports a cardiac surgery volume of ~600 cases per year, a TAVI program of ~150 cases per year, short‑term mechanical support (V‑A ECMO, V‑V ECMO, VAD), and consultation/TEE support for complex non‑cardiac surgery.
