Job Description
Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia Movil Delivery in Uruguay ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices using Java.
- Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Participate in the design of scalable and secure architectures.
- Integrate applications with core banking systems, as well as internal and external services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and Product Owners in requirements definition.
