Analyst in Privacy and Information Access

Enhance university compliance as a Privacy and Access Analyst in the Office of General Counsel at Laurentian University. Focus on FIPPA adherence and improve privacy workflows.
This full-time role reports to the Information and Privacy Officer, supporting the university in fulfilling its obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. You will facilitate FOI requests, conduct PIAs, and support incident responses while exercising independent judgment for risk assessments. Streamlining internal processes will be key to your contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support FOI request processing and compliance efforts
• Conduct initial Privacy Impact Assessments
