Analyst I

SUMMARY

Performs laboratory tests required by Saybolt’s clients with supervision, to determine chemical or physical characteristics designated by the client.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist other chemists from the department and Chief Analyst or Laboratory Account Managers in laboratory duties.
• Maintain efficient laboratory work to meet client needs accurately and in time.
• Run analysis at the lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality, and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure full cooperation with department and managers on all assignments.
• Follow all company procedures (HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Compliance Code).
• Keep updated with all policy changes and act accordingly.
• Exhibit professional appearance and attitude and act in harmony with fellow employees.
