Analyst for Mortgage Origination

Become an Analyst with our Real Estate Debt team in Edmonton, Alberta. Engage with the Origination team to facilitate mortgage applications and loan funding.

In this role, you will directly support the Origination processes by conducting feasibility assessments on mortgage loan opportunities of medium complexity. Collaborating with Originators, you will assist in underwriting commercial mortgage requests, which may include construction loans and bridge financing. Your critical thinking will be pivotal in preparing applications and presentations for both the Investment Management team and external lenders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform timely feasibility assessments of mortgage opportunities
• Collaborate on underwriting commercial mortgage requests
• Create credit applications for internal team reviews
• Benchmark prospective mortgage loans against guidelines
• Develop formal loan presentations for lenders
