Alibaba Group-Senior Manager/ Head of Government Affairs, Brazil

Job Description: The Senior Manager, Government Affairs for Brazil will report to the Director of Government Affairs for Latin America. This role will manage proactive engagement with and monitoring of relevant government officials and legislative and regulatory matters related to Alibaba and its business ecosystem. The successful candidate will manage legislative, regulatory and political matters at the Federal, State, District and Municipal levels in areas of relevance to Alibaba. They will strategically manage Alibaba's legislative and regulatory advocacy initiatives across a range of environments in Brazil, with a specific focus on regulation in the area of ecommerce, digital services, product safety, intellectual property, consumer protection, logistics, tax, customs regulations, De Minimis and competition issues.
