Airworthiness Engineer: ICAs & Repairs Specialist (Getafe)

Mission

The main mission of the Airworthiness Technical Engineer for Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and Generic and Individual Repairs is to define applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.) to demonstrate compliance, participating in the approval of Generic and Individual repairs as part of the different aircraft manuals and continuing airworthiness artefacts.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Define applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.), including ALS and demonstrate its compliance.
• Coordinate and perform the airworthiness approval of Individual and Generic Repairs, exercising DOA/MDOA privileges (when available) as delegated by the Chief of the Office of Airworthiness.
• Provide expertise in ICAs and other continuing airworthiness artefacts to the design organization.
