Aircraft Painter

Responsibilities

Review assigned task cards with Certifying Staff to gain full understanding of work scope priorities documentation requirements and cautions prior to starting work. Prepare work areas materials tools equipment and Ground Support Equipment GSE required for assigned tasks. Perform aircraft painting paint repair and surface finishing activities strictly in accordance with approved task cards maintenance data and company procedures and as directed by Certifying Staff authorized personnel. Ensure proper tooling and equipment are drawn from stores used correctly and returned in good condition following completion of work. Regularly report task progress to Certifying Staff and promptly communicate any defects issues or deviations encountered during execution. Manage the safety of own assigned maintenance tasks ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken prior to and during task execution.
