AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADER (Title 32)

Summary THIS IS A TITLE 32 DUAL STATUS POSITION DUTY LOCATION: Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group (TASMG), Groton, CT AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1: All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel, assigned to the TASMG of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Responsibilities Temporary promotion not to exceed two (2) years. The purpose of the temporary promotion is to backfill a Soldier on Active Duty. The temporary promotion will be terminated within 30 days of return of the incumbent to the position. This is a temporary promotion that may convert to permanent without further competition. JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to perform OCM and sustainment level repairs that are cost effective to enhance the readiness, availability, and ability to extend Army aircraft life well into the 21st century.
