Responsibilities You will serve as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic and will be responsible for testing and certifying acceptable performance of all conventional or modified aircraft engines prior to them being installed in the aircraft or placed in inventory. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Repairing and reworking engine parts and components.
