Air Traffic Control Assistant (ATCA) - Sharjah National

An Air Traffic Control Assistant (ATCA) role is varied, as the job title cover several different positions, including those in the Control Tower and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS).

The ATCA is responsible for maintaining 24-hour operational timing and providing support to the Duty Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO), ensuring that all aircraft receive safe, efficient, and effective service.

Additionally, the ATCA must ensure that all data and information related to AIS and Flight Planning are accurate and compliant with international civil aviation standards, in order to support the safety, regularity, and efficiency of air traffic operations.

Key Accountabilities

Carry out procedures connected with the Briefing Room, including:

• Managing, correcting, and disseminating flight plans and other flight‑associated messages using the Comsoft Solutions Aeronautical Data Access System (CADAS).
