Job Description
Your Role
As AI Platform System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are strengthening our platform team as a professional and experienced engineer and provide technical engineering and operational infrastructure services to enterprise infrastructure for AI initiatives in close collaboration with several stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable AI infrastructure services optimized for GPU workloads
- Implement and manage enterprise‑grade AI platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift) for model inference
- Operate and maintain high‑performance computing (HPC) clusters, including bare‑metal and virtual GPU servers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents across hardware and software stacks
- Support data science teams with infrastructure provisioning
- Perform critical infrastructure tasks and participate in on‑call rotations
