The Agronomist, Deputy Operations Manager will be responsible for the following:
Negotiate prices of citrus fruitsIdentify Packhouses to store fruitSource citrus, orangesContract and identify local farmersEnsure the shipping of packed fruits to overseas marketsManage procurement strategies for agricultural products to meet operational needs effectively.Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.Work closely with supply chain teams to optimise logistics and inventory management.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainability standards.Analyse market trends to guide procurement decisions and maintain cost efficiency.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.Oversee the implementation of best practices in agricultural product sourcing.Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements ...
