Job Summary
Review customer requirements and prepare and update production schedule.
Knowledge and Skills (Education)
- Strong communicator in English, both written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High level of time management
- Tool and Die certification and a minimum of 5 years tool room experience in automotive
- Operate all toolroom equipment
- Good understanding of ISO, SPC and QS systems
Major Accountabilities
- Supervise toolmakers and apprentices
- Plan and schedule all tool room jobs as per timeline
- Control all heat treated components from outside suppliers
- Schedule ordering of tooling components and supplies
- Assist Tool Room Manager in product scheduling
- Assist Lead hands in troubleshooting die build problems
