Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) – Walk-In Centre / Urgent Care
Location: Walk-In Centre / Urgent Treatment Centre
Shift Pattern: 12‑hour shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends, and Bank Holidays)
Contract: Flexible / Bank / Permanent (Shifts available all year round)
Reports to: Clinical Lead / Service Manager
Job Purpose
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will provide autonomous, high‑quality clinical care to patients presenting with minor illness and urgent care needs within the Walk‑In Centre. The post holder will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications within scope of practice.
The ACP will utilise advanced clinical decision‑making skills and work autonomously while supporting the wider multidisciplinary team. Accurate documentation using electronic clinical systems including SystmOne and Adastra is essential.
