Job Overview

At the University of Waterloo, the Administrator, Research Partnerships supports government contract and grant administrative functions across all faculties as part of the Office of the Vice-President, Research and International – Research Partnerships III. The position is full‑time and temporary, with a 14‑month term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Research Partnerships team, responding to sponsors/partners for award agreements, disbursement and reception of funds, and related correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate files for each proposal and award, archiving closed or non‑initiated projects.
  • Process proposals and projects through the research administration workflow using the OR InfoEd system.
  • Track, monitor and report on all research projects and proposals, ensuring compliance with uWaterloo policies and procedures.
