Summary About the Position: Yokota Air Base is located on the island of Honshu, Japan, on the Kanto Plain, northwest of Tokyo at the foothills of the Okutama Mountains. Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) Pacific East District operates 21 schools located in Japan across 7 communities. Federal employees in Yokota, Japan are currently entitled to receive a 10% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary (rate subject to change).
