Overview

Talent Innovation Canada, or TICAN, powers Canada’s innovation economy by embedding the country’s brightest graduate talent into its most innovative firms, accelerating breakthrough technology development and growing Canadian IP. Focusing on the areas of biomanufacturing & bioscience, microelectronics & ICT, clean growth, and mobility, TICAN is supporting Canadian firms to be leaders in these critical sectors and ensuring access to a talent pipeline to support their long-term technology roadmaps.

TICAN launched in late 2025 and is building the team to deliver this impactful vision. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the inaugural administrative and governance officer will have the opportunity to work alongside the founding team and board of directors as the organizational infrastructure and governance processes are built and the programming is delivered.
