Adjunct Faculty In Emergency Medical Services (Cesar)

Position Summary

The EMS Instructor is a part‑time position located at Clovis Community College and teaches in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Under the direction of the EMS Program Director, the instructor prepares and delivers didactic, laboratory, and clinical education that aligns with the State of New Mexico and National EMS Standards curriculum.

Duties are performed in the context of a comprehensive community college, where understanding the community college mission and philosophy will be critical to success.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of work experience as an EMT instructor certified by the New Mexico State Ambulance Administration (EMSA) or the ability to obtain such certification from one of the teaching institutions within New Mexico.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Current New Mexico EMT Paramedic or EMT Intermediate license.
