Job Description
General Cover Teacher – Full-Time (Temporary) Northumberland Schools
Pay: £140 - £180 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date - September 2026
Teaching Personnel is looking for a confident and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for adaptable teachers who enjoy variety and wanting to take a step back from a full teaching role.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Keep classrooms calm, focused, and engaging
- Follow school behaviour policies and routines
- Support pupils’ learning while covering staff absences
