Responsibilities

Analyze the current On-Prem Active Directory environment including domains, forests, trusts, user and group structures, Group Policies (GPOs), and permission models

Review the existing identity and authentication setup focusing on authentication methods such as Kerberos and NTLM and assess security posture and potential risks

Assess the broader IT landscape and dependencies such as business-critical applications, file services, legacy systems, and interfaces

Evaluate existing hybrid identity setups including Azure AD Connect, synchronization mechanisms, and federation scenarios
