Job description

Valuation Actuary, this position is responsible to perform both ad-hoc and regular reporting for Canadian GAAP including the analysis.

This also includes building and maintaining the model using actuarial software.

Preferred skills

  • Good Actuarial knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fast Learner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • Preferably have experience in programming

    • Qualifications

  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics and nearly qualified actuary
  • Detail minded, self-motivated, able to work under pressure
  • Good in both written and spoken English

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform regular and ad-hoc Canadian Reporting
  • Perform modelling and maintaining Axis actuarial models
  • Understand IFRS 17 concept and requirements to be implemented in CGAAP valuation...
