Summary This position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, Resident Services, Recreation Services Division. The incumbent serves as the AFRH-W Activity and Volunteer Services Coordinator who serves the entire AFRH-W campus, independent living, Independent living plus, assisted living and long-term care. Responsibilities As an ACTIVITIES & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, you will: Plan with administrative staff and co-workers the objectives and scope of the Volunteer Services Program to augment the services and programs made available to residents, recruits and orients new volunteers, arrange for their training and placement, and supervise the program Receive requests for services of volunteers from various sections throughout the campus Conduct surveys and meet with the using activities to evaluate the effectiveness of the Volunteer Services Program Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republ...
