Job Description
Senior Software Controls Engineer - PLC/SCADA
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire | Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs)
The Role
- Lead the design, development and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems
- Produce FDS, technical documentation and control philosophies
- Support FAT/SAT and site commissioning
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Troubleshoot and optimise automation systems
- Work with clients and internal engineering teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions
About You
- Strong experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or similar)
- Good understanding of instrumentation, control philosophy and systems integration
- Confident communicator with leadership/mentoring experience
- HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering, Automation or related field
