What is the job?
We are not looking for someone who clocks in, does the minimum, and clocks out. We are looking for an Accuracy Checking Dispenser who is genuinely driven, someone who takes ownership, holds themselves to a high standard, and cares deeply about what happens to patients at the end of that prescription. You will be a central, trusted part of our pharmacy operation at our Winnersh site — the person the team relies on to make sure every medicine that leaves our pharmacy is right.
As an Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD), you will be responsible for carrying out the final accuracy check on dispensed prescriptions before they are supplied to patients. You will act as an independent safeguard within the dispensing process, ensuring that medicines are assembled exactly as prescribed and in line with legal, operational and patient safety standards.
