Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day payment operations for a team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing invoice workflows in a fast-paced accounting environment. The role will focus on accurate payment processing, coding financial documents, and helping maintain reliable accounts payable records.

Responsibilities:
• Review incoming invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper supporting documentation before processing
• Assign correct general ledger or account codes to invoices and other payable transactions
• Enter and process vendor invoices in a timely manner while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Prepare and coordinate ACH payments and check disbursements according to established schedules
