Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily financial operations in Troy, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, can manage a large volume of transactions with accuracy, and brings a solid foundation in payables, receivables, and general accounting practices. The successful candidate will contribute to timely payment processing, reliable record maintenance, and smooth coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices, confirming proper coding, approval, and adherence to company guidelines before entry.
• Prepare and issue payments through checks, electronic payments, and wire transfers while maintaining complete and accurate supporting documentation.
• Reconcile accounts payable activity to the general ledger, investigate variances, and partner with the accounts receivable team to resolve outstanding balances.
