Job Description

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a specialist sales and construction business with offices in Luton.
The Role
As Accounts Assistant you will be a strong number 2 for the Financial Controller and support all core accounting and financial tasks including transactional processing, month end and commercial support. Day to day duties will consist of:
Process supplier invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payments.
Process storage invoices.
Maintenance of AP and AR records
Prepare and send customer invoices and assist with collections.
Reconcile statements with suppliers and customers.
Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Support the month-end and year-end close process.
Maintain and organise financial documents and files.
Assist with data entry and updating accounting systems.
