Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a team in San Diego, California on a Contract basis. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations across receivables, payables, reconciliations, and close activities while helping maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve payment and billing issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete accounts receivable process, including preparing invoices, applying incoming cash, posting customer payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Carry out routine collection efforts and communicate with customers to encourage timely payment and reduce aging receivables.
