ACCOUNTANT

Summary You will serve as a ACCOUNTANT in the ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will perform financial analysis, accounting, audit readiness, and payment validation. You will support pre-validation of vendor and contract payments by reviewing denied MOCAS, TFO, and TBO transactions. You will perform accounting functions by reviewing SF 1081 packages, preparing SF 1034 miscellaneous payments, and supporting Budget Execution Validation (BEV) for General Fund (GENF) and Working Capital Fund (WCF) activities. You will review and analyze asset-related financial reporting, processes, documentation, and data. You will manage the controls testing and substantive testing with the NAVAIR Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Team and NAVAIR stakeholders.
