Accountant (Local Finance)

Position Overview

The accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the Group Finance Manager in reporting and compliance requirements. The role involves handling the full spectrum of accounting tasks, including month-end closings, reconciliations, tax reporting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end closings.
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, statutory, and company policies.
