RPO Recruitment's client in KwaZulu-Natal is currently looking for an Accountant. Their responsibility is to maintain oversight of inter-company accounts and effectively oversee non-gaming revenue and food and beverage cost management in accordance with necessary standards and in full adherence to relevant legal and accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
Safeguard and manage company funds and assets while overseeing accounting systems
Analyze operational outcomes and propose cost-cutting and profit-enhancing strategies for Executive Management review
Ensure accurate accounting classification for all expenses, both operating and capital
Prepare internal and external financial statements
Enforce internal accounting and administrative controls to ensure accurate transaction handling
Develop long-term plans and budget requirements to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
