We are looking for an Accountant to support key accounting operations for a Contract position based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role will manage core financial activities across payables, receivables, and general ledger accounting while helping maintain accurate records and timely reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid reconciliation experience, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, review payment details for accuracy, and help ensure disbursements are completed on schedule.
• Maintain accounts receivable records by tracking incoming payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting collection follow-up as needed.
