Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting activities across the Accounting organization including the preparation of monthly accounting records as well as related reporting, analytical activities and initiatives.General Responsibilities- Collaborates on the preparation and entering of journal entries- Key participant in balance sheet reconciliations- Follow the company's chart of accounts- Organizes month-end and year-end close process- Research and analyze current financial status- Collaborate on financial action recommendations by analyzing accounting options- Identify errors and collaborate on ways to improve efficiency and spending- Key participant in reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures- Assist with financial statements and supplemental schedules- Organize doocumentation on business processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirem...
