Accountant (6 months contract)

Responsibilities Support monthly and year-end financial close processes Prepare monthly management accounts with analysis of food cost %, labour cost %, and profitability Oversee stock control, including counts, reconciliations, and variance investigation (wastage/shrinkage) Manage suppliers: invoice checks, reconciliations, payments, and cost negotiations Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations across POS and deposits Drive cost control initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and improving margins Maintain financial administration, including creditors, debtors, and statutory compliance Partner with operations, providing financial insight to support daily decisions Enforce strong internal controls across cash, stock, and operational processes Ensure system and reporting accuracy across POS, stock, and accounting platforms; identify process improvements Skills & Experience Full Accounting function Food and beverage (non-negotiable) Qualification Finance-related degree #J-18808-Ljbff...
