Job Description
Contribute to sustainable pork production as a 4th Class Power Engineer with Canada Packers. Oversee essential engineering systems including steam, ammonia refrigeration, and utilities in a values-driven culture.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll ensure compliance and efficiency of various systems such as wastewater, compressed air, and HVAC. With your 3-5 years of experience, you will maintain regulatory standards while supporting a collaborative work environment. This role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement across all engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and log steam generation requirements per operation code
• Inspect ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems regularly
• Operate utilities including HVAC and compressed air
• Utilize SAP for work requests and maintenance tracking
• Adhere to Health & Safety and food safety protocols
