Job Description
Position Overview
The 2D Operations Lead Engineer leads and supports the 2D pipeline team and is a technical resource to artists and supervisors to solve Nuke-related issues. In collaboration with other pipeline team members, the Lead Engineer identifies and solves complex challenges for tools, plug-ins and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain efficient and creative workflows and tools for compositing artists
- Troubleshoot artist tool issues and develop effective solutions leading 2D pipeline team members
- Work daily with the pipeline management team to identify and implement existing and new features
- Lead daily scrum meetings
- Write and review technical design memos and user documentation
- Identify early areas of improvements and escape issues to management as needed
