Overview
Professional Student Services Personnel – Child and Youth Counsellor
Location: Willow Road Public School (temporary assignment; location may change based on student and system needs)
FTE and Hours: 1.0 FTE; 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $57,801 - $78,770 per year (based on 1.0 FTE, plus applicable vacation pay; rate effective September 1, 2025)
Start Date: September 2, 2026 • End Date: Unknown
Board Information: 10-month position (September – June), temporary, full-time, Professional Student Services Personnel (PSSP) Union
Reporting to the school Principal, the Child Youth Counsellor provides direct and indirect support to students facing social, emotional or behavioural barriers to learning, and collaborates with families and community agencies as needed.

- Address emotional barriers to student success
- Develop and implement preventive social/behavioural programming
