Job Description

The main purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Group Security Management Department (GSMD), encompassing oversight of comprehensive, integrated multidisciplinary security management function across the South African Reserve Bank Group (SARB) Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

Provide leadership and strategic direction to all the SARB Group security functions. Monitor and advise on local and international developments regarding security threats, vulnerabilities and trends and implement appropriate counter measures. Lead and oversee the strategic SARB Group response to security incidents and exposures. Provide capability to execute security operations.
